How long can a talent show be? Yes, that's a great question, Ethan. A very good question, to which I thought I knew the answer beforehand, but...

Nope. Not even close.

Maybe half an hour longer? Technically it was more like an hour, which shouldn't even seem so bad, but considering I couldn't get my mind off of "rain" and "lightning" the entire time, it seemed like five years. Maybe six years. It seemed like a really long time, alright?

It didn't help that Ethan and I sat close, cuddled up to each other, and sometimes I snuck my hand up his thigh and into his lap. For reasons. Don't ask what my reasons were. I don't want to admit that I kind of wanted to tease and tempt him into coming back to my dorm room early.

Except he wouldn't! He wouldn't even do it, wouldn't even entertain the idea, despite the fact that I know he had an erection the entire time. I could feel it. To be fair, the talent show was really good. I liked watching everyone perform. There was this really cool painting kind of thing with chalk where the girl drew something that I couldn't quite tell what it was at first, but then all of a sudden she did some splashy flashy things with water, then flipped the chalkboard upside down and it was the Eiffel Tower. Not just the tower, but the cityscape with stars and a faint crescent moon in the background.

I really liked that one, but I also remember sliding my hand up Ethan's shirt to feel his abs at the time. He leaned back a little in his chair and flexed, sending ripples through his muscles, waves of abs rising and falling beneath my fingers. The worst part was that the next performance was someone playing a piano, and basically the entire time I couldn't stop thinking about how much I would like to play music on Ethan's abs.

I can't be the only one, right?

They're just really fun to touch and to play with, and then when I'm done I can slide my whole hand down his stomach, like the finale to a piano ensemble, and find a standing ovation at the bottom in the form of Ethan's erection.

I really really can't be the only one who thinks these things. Right...? Um...

Sorry to get distracted for a second there, but that's how the talent show went. It was basically torture. Kind of sexy torture, and I looked forward to the end of it, but then it just kept going.

Not the talent show. No, that ended after about another hour or an hour and a half. Right after that, Scarlet dragged everyone in our group out of the gym and gathered us up.

"We should do something cool," she said.
